A rich amalgamation of Spanish folk music and African rhythms,
Cuban music has had an amazing influence on the world - the roots of
salsa, Latin jazz and the romantic bolero can all be traced back to
this tiny island in the Caribbean! The intoxicating rhythms of the
cha-cha-cha, mambo and rumba first made their way off the island in the
1950s. These exciting and exuberant sounds literally shook up the
