of Heartbreak Hotel, this CD single includes two outtakes from those
recording sessions on January 10th & 11th 1956 which changed the
face of music forever. It's arguable that Elvis's recordings those days
have changed culture worldwide in ways which still have an effect on
music and will continue to for generations to come. Heartbreak Hotel was
written by Mae Axton, the mother of Hoyt Axton, and the song's
popularity was pivotal in Hoyt deciding to become a recording artist. ”
