TRACKLIST:The film consists of two parts.
The first part (51:09) - a documentary about Cecilia Bartoli. This film tells about a young singer in almost the very beginning of his career. Early began to act on the international stage, she was "caught" by this film after just a few years of activity: writing, performances and gaining a full picture of what it means to be an opera singer. She was born into a musical family with his father - a lyric tenor, and his mother - a lyric soprano. When the young Cecilia began to sing, her mother noticed how easy it is to cope with the rapid coloratura - a key element of expression, used by Rossini. Cecilia describes the film as it is natural to her came, but the scene with her mother - her teacher - demonstrate the hard work to develop this gift of nature.
The film begins in April 1991 in Venice - a city where Rossini made his debut as an opera composer. Chesil zapisivaet solo disc of arias associated with Isabella Kolbran (1785-1845). Basically this is a dramatic play, such as the aria from "Babylon" and "Elizabeth, the Queen of England. Recorded her producer Christopher rib (Christopher Raeburn). Then we return back to Venice and dive into the enchanting atmosphere of excitement which prevailed there in the 18 century. An entry in the Hall Ridotto accompanied by singing arias Cecilia Cherubino from the "Marriage of Figaro" by Mozart. Another aspect of talent Cecilia - a skill dancing. She studied Flamenco dance, and film to verify its ability.
The second part (55:21) - "In concert at the Savoy Hotel" - a solo evening, which was given to the singer at London's Hotel Savoy in the summer of 1991.
