Complete Decca Trios � Plus is a double-disc, 50-track collection
containing all of the recordings Les Paul made for Decca between 1936
and 1947, including all of his released and unreleased masters, plus
several tracks he cut with fellow Decca recording artists. These are the
recordings that earned Paul�s reputation as an excellent guitarist and
they show his extraordinary range. He could play jazz and Hawaiian
music, swing with big bands or subtly support singers like Bing Crosby,
Helen Forrest and The Andrews Sisters. All of that is featured here, on a
collection that is essential for anyone with an interest in Paul or the
history of the electric guitar.
