collection with 64 hits of the legendary, charismatic "Creta's
archangel" Nikos Xylouris, who became a beloved idol for millions of
fans, despite his short life (he died 44 yo in 1980). The talented
cretan "lyra" virtuoso and soul-stirring singer was "discovered" by
composers Yiannis Markopoulos and Stavros Xarhakos and quickly
skyrocketed to the top positions of the greek charts. After 30 years
from his death, he remains insurmountable till today in the ethnic
cretan songs. In this wonderful collection you will find both "classic"
Xylouris' timeless songs, and some rare cretan tunes with conventional
