The
Plucked Strings Orchestra of Patras' Municipality is an outstanding
musical ensemble of 12 mandolins, 5 mandolas and 10 guitars with a
unique "rolling" sound created and directed by the talented maestro
Thanasis Tsipinakis. The Orchestra has a rich activity with frequent
concerts at the city of Patras. This very beautiful album contains 30
live recordings from summer concerts of the period 1995-2010, given in
the open stadium of Patras' Conservatoire, "under the moon". Enjoy a
soul-stirring musical experience with some of the top greek singers,
backed by magic mandolin and guitar sounds.
